THE STORY
So many times in my walk with God I have wondered "just where are you God?"
I was feeling like this the day I wrote this song. As I was writing it, it was almost as if the Holy Spirit took over and began to write it for me. What started out to be me questioning where God was, turned out to be a song that actually supplied the answer - that He is ALWAYS right here with me.
I still have moments when I wonder if God is with me, but they do not last as long as they once did. It seems that when I sing this song now, I come quickly to the realization that God will never leave or forsake me.
The line "I need a good cry" seems to puzzle folks from time to time. For me the line meant the assurance that I was doing God's will at the time of a difficult decision - you know, that overwhelming "tears of joy" moment when you just KNOW that everything is going to be alright.
